Chronoscope VR - Acropolis
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Step inside history. Don’t just read about it.
Chronoscope VR is a work-in-progress proof of concept for a virtual reality museum experience. It currently focuses on Athens in the 5th century BCE, placing you directly on the Acropolis during its golden age.
Built for Meta Quest Link, Chronoscope allows you to explore the Parthenon, statues, temples, and surrounding spaces as a living, breathing environment, reconstructed with historical research and real-time graphics.

Project vision
Our goal is to create a virtual museum like no other.
A place where you can feel what it was like to step into antiquity, explore historically grounded environments, and learn directly from experts of the field — all within a single immersive space.
Chronoscope is designed as a scalable platform, capable of expanding to other historical sites and eras.
Current status
- This release is an early proof of concept
- Content, features, and educational layers are still in development
- The Acropolis experience is not yet complete
We are actively looking for partners, institutions, and collaborators interested in:
- Expanding Chronoscope to new archaeological sites
- Contributing research and educational content
- Helping complete and refine the Acropolis experience
Important note
Chronoscope does not present history as a single, fixed truth.
Where interpretations differ, the experience is designed to reflect ongoing research and evolving academic perspectives.
History is alive. This project is too.
